During the year, we worked intensively in order to secure the passing of laws that would benefitour graduates.
In addition to Lihi Lapid, we hosted the Minister of Education, Dr. Yifat Shasha Biton, and key members of the Knesset at the Centre. We also participated in Knesset committee hearings.
On the last day of the present Knesset, we were overjoyed that an amendment to the Law on Equal Rights for People with Disabilities was approved. This amendment regulates the field of service dogs, including who is eligible to train these special dogs. Most importantly, the law ensures equal rights to those are assisted by these amazing dogs.
