KNESSET VISIT: OUR GUIDE DOGS CUTTING ACROSS PARTY POLITICS

On 20th June, a group of Israel Guide Dog Centre clients and their guide dogs, together with staff from the Centre, were hosted at the Knesset (Israeli Parliament) by MK Shirley Pinto.

The purpose of this event was to lobby and show our support for a new law allowing equal access to public places for people with guide and service dogs and to increase awareness about people with vision disabilities.

We were delighted, but not surprised, that love of dogs and appreciation of our work cuts across all political parties!

Our thanks to Dror, Moneera, Erez, Hila, Tomer and Anna – you are a winning team!
