THE JOY OF SPONSORING A PUPPY

Give a blind or disabled Israeli the opportunity to live with the dignity of independence.

By sponsoring a puppy from just £10 a month you can be an active part of helping them grow from being a cute bundle of fur to becoming a fully qualified guide or service dog ready to give someone the loving support that will transform their life.

HERE’S OUR LATEST PUPPY THAT YOU CAN SPONSOR

WHY WE NEED YOUR SUPPORT

There are around 24,000 blind and visually impaired people living in Israel today.

Around 4% of all IDF combat veterans suffer from some form of PTSD.

And there are approximately 1 in every 80 children with autism.

We rely on charitable donations for around 90% of our budget. So every pound we raise makes a massive difference to people in Israel living with either sight loss or disability.

WHAT YOU WILL RECEIVE

Whether you are doing this for yourself, your school or community or as a gift for someone, puppy sponsors become an integral part of the Israel Guide Dog Centre family and as such they receive:

A personalised certificate

A photo of your puppy

An adorable fridge magnet

A cute cuddly toy

2 infographic posters explaining your puppy’s progress to become a guide, service or breeder dog

A gorgeous calendar at the end of each year

Being a puppy sponsor is a really lovely way to support our work at the Israel Guide Dog Centre.

We produce over 150 puppies a year and each every one of them needs to have food and medicine, toys and a puppy raiser volunteer to look after them. In total this costs £800 a year and your sponsorship will help towards this. Of course, if you choose, you could cover the whole amount and be the sole sponsor of one of our lovely pups.

Whatever you choose to donate, as a puppy sponsor you will be part of your special ‘life-changing’ journey.

We provide our guide dogs free of charge to our blind and disabled clients.

This is only possible because of the support we receive from people like you.
