ISRAEL AT WAR – DOGS COMFORT HIGH-RISK PATIENTS AT RAMBAM HOSPITAL

Our superhero puppies and dogs-in-training have been working around the clock to provide comfort and love to displaced families and the wounded in hospitals.

Last week, they added some lovely mums-to-be to their list, as they visited the high-risk pregnancy unit at Haifa’s Rambam Hospital.

Many women in the high-risk pregnancy and the fetal-medicine units spend weeks in the wards, and have been very anxious since the war against Hamas terrorists in the south began and rockets have been fired in the north by Hizbollah terrorists.

“With the four-legged visitors around, you could literally see on the electronic monitors how the patients are relaxing,” says the senior nurse on the ward.
