Dear Friends,
As we pause to reflect on the journey of 2025, we are filled with a deep sense of pride, but more importantly, an overwhelming sense of gratitude for your steadfast support.
2025 was a uniquely complex year, one that began under the heavy shadow of war in Gaza. It started as a year of uncertainty, and pain. Yet, it ended with a profound sense of renewal as we welcomed the return of the hostages and saw the conflict in Gaza finally reach its end after two very long years.
Throughout these turbulent months, the challenging reality touched every one of us. It was your belief in our mission that continued to motivate us to persevere.
Even when the path was difficult and filled with challenges, we never stopped training, raising our puppies and providing the life-changing dogs that our clients depend on.
We are proud to share that despite the external pressures and emotional challenges that each and every one of us faced since October 7th, 2023, we achieved nearly all of our organizational goals. In 2025:
- We successfully completed rigorous evaluations by both the International Guide Dog Federation (IGDF) and Assistance Dogs International (ADI). This global recognition is a testament to the dedication of a committed team, and uncompromising standards.
- We moved forward with projects that impact on the future of the Israel Guide Dog Center, and refined our professional processes, ensuring that the bond between each dog and user is built on a foundation of safety and excellence.
Every partnership created had a profound impact on the lives of our clients, their families and communities.
Our dogs transformed the lives of people with blindness, IDF veterans and survivors, families with children on the autism spectrum and more. This was made possible through your support and generosity.
We want to say thank you – toda raba. Thank you for your commitment, your compassion, and your genuine care for the two legged and four legged, that includes every client, volunteer, staff and dogs in our care.
You are the engine that keeps us going, and helps us make a better and more tolerant society for all Israelis.
Together, as partners in this remarkable organisation, we will continue to build a reality where independence and dignity are accessible to all.
In spite of the war that is currently upon us, we look forward to another year of meaningful work and true partnership.
With deepest respect and appreciation,
Noach & Carmel
