Martin Segal Superhero Competition
We are inviting all primary school children to take part in a fun and creative new competition to design their very own superhero!
At the Israel Guide Dog Centre, we train real-life superhero dogs who make a lifechanging difference to Israelis living with sight loss, PTSD, trauma and autism.
This competition gives children the chance to learn more about the vital role guide dogs play and to imagine a hero dog, or human hero with their partner dog, who helps others, inspired by the incredible work of guide and service dogs.

This very special award is named after our former Executive Director, Martin Segal z’l.
His leadership and commitment to the Israel Guide Dog Centre, and so many other charities, made him a real life superhero. Martin strongly believed in celebrating everyday heroes and inspiring the next generation.
How to enter
You can either design a colourful superhero poster or create a newspaper front page telling the story of their superhero and the amazing things they do. Be sure to name your superhero, explain how they help others and make a difference.
Fill out the entry form on the back of the flyer (available here to download) and hand it into your school by 29th May or post your design and form to:
